FAQ
How far in advance should I book my session?
Book your session as early as possible to secure your preferred date/season. Spring and fall are peak seasons and tend to book up quickly.
Where will my photo session take place?
Your session will take place in a beautiful outdoor setting. Popular options include wildflower fields, lush greenery, small town urban spots like downtown Franklin or Murfreesboro, or even urban cityscapes like downtown Nashville. I’m always looking for great new spots!
What should I wear?
Your outfits should reflect your personality and style. Depending on the length of your session, you’ll need 2 or 3 outfits. During our consultation, I can guide you on your outfits to make sure you get the best variety.
Can I or should I bring props for my session?
Absolutely! If there’s something meaningful to you—like sports gear, musical instruments, or your favorite book—bring it along. Personal touches make your session unique and special.
Can I bring a friend or family member with me on my session?
Absolutely! In fact, please bring at least one person with you who will make you feel relaxed. They can even jump in for a couple shots with you.
Can I do family photos at the same time as my senior session?
Your senior session should be all about you. For that reason, I offer dedicated family sessions at certain times of the year, as an add-on to your senior package.
What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?
You’re not alone! Most seniors feel a little nervous at first, but I’ll guide you through poses and expressions, and I’ll make sure you feel relaxed and confident. By the end of the session, you’ll be having so much fun, and all nerves will be long gone!
When will I see my photos?
You’ll have your personal ordering appointment about a week after your session. This is the time that you’ll select your favorites for your collection and place your order.
How much does a senior session cost?
The session retainer is $200, which covers shooting time and a personal ordering appointment. Products and digital images are purchased separately during the ordering appointment.
Do you offer senior mini sessions?
I occasionally offer mini sessions for spring cap and gown sessions and prom. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for updates on mini session availability!
